Hi, I’m Frank, a formerly burned out runner who stopped overtraining, started consistently PRing and now can’t live without my morning run.

After running my first marathon, I got hooked on the adrenaline and camaraderie of the sport. I jumped right in and started running a marathon or two every year and even threw in a few Ironman’s.

But... I overdid it.

I didn’t know any better and I was overtraining.

Q: I’ve been pretty serious about running for many years. Do I really need Personal Coaching or can I get similar results with a canned plan?

A: The majority of my clients are experienced runners like you. Canned plans are a good place to start and could help you get out there and get going. You’re ready to upgrade to Personal Coaching when you set a specific goal, find yourself plateauing or injured. The results of Personal Coaching are definitely greater and well worth the investment when you’re ready to take your running to the next level.

Q: I’m definitely on a budget and there’s a local coach charging a fraction of the price. Is it really worth it to spend the extra money?

A: Working with a local coach can be great motivation! If that’s all you need, then he or she may be the right option for you and your budget. However, if you’re looking for customized strategy that will get you to your goals and next PR fast with minimal time on the track, then Personal Coaching is well worth your investment. It will run you right around the same cost as your monthly coffee budget. What you can’t afford is to continue to plateau or, worse, risk training in a way that will cost you another injury.

Q: I’m already training a ton and don’t have more time to put into this. How much time would I need to commit each week to Personal Coaching with you?
